A luxury hotel at its best in Harbin city

Friendly F and B chef and staff who were very approachable and willing to deliver their best service. The room was comfortable and has a good selection of TV programs compared to other hotels. Bed was excellent sleep for our tiring trip. Worth the price.

Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin We paid to upgrade to a suite and it was worth it. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a proper separate living area and good winter views. Lounge access was a highlight. Overlooking Harbin Ice and Snow World, the evening views were excellent. A great place to sit and warm up after being outside. Cherry, Kiki and Wendy looked after us very well throughout the stay. Service was attentive and friendly without being over the top. Food in the lounge offered a strong selection, and the à la carte options were a welcome addition. Overall, a very good stay and a solid choice when visiting Harbin in winter.

Kind but english..

Very very kind staff. i dont have Wechatpay for renting unbrella while i stay, but staff kindly help me to rent their own umbrella without pay. cleaner also super kind. She keep trying to giving me plenty of water with smile. Even she cannot speak english, i can see she is very professionl of her job.

− Enlgish. They barely can speak english. its quite shock to me cos this hotel brand is famous enough internationally. Most of staff i experience only can speak little bit. Thanks to their kindness, i can stay without any problem, but still it's the thing i didn't expect.

good restaurant facilities..great views across the river... helpful staff..clean rooms, immaculate reception. ( really a couple of western TV channels and i wouldn't have chosen CNN as my news source!! Why not English national news as an option ?? Western media bias is very strong so more tempered or unbiased source of news would have been welcome

− decor needs a little more attention..starting to look a little worn in small areas. Water drain sounds after toilet or shower.

Pleasant

The location is not bad and it’s quiet. The hotel has nice space in common area. The rooms are much older than the pictures shown on booking. The style indicates it was built around 15-20 years ago. But it is well maintained. The value of the money I’m not too sure. £150 per night is higher than usual as we came in a peak season. Usually it’s £90 which is a good value.

The location can overlooking 180’ of the whole downtown to uptown, and the great snow world is on the middle above the S
